Rescue groups that are registered as a 501c3 organization that have more than five procedures to be performed may access our special services. Please email info@focusvetcare.com for additional information.
We are not a 24 hour emergency clinic.
If your needs cannot take place when we are open, we will do our best to try to accommodate you at another time. Availability is not guaranteed.

We prefer email. To reduce staffing costs, so we may offer you reasonably priced services, we primarily communicate through email. Phone calls are answered on the next business day and returned through email or text and is not the fastest way to receive a response.
We offer clean, veterinarian standard, high quality cages with fleece blankets and a teddy for our patients.
We provide EKG, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, temperature monitoring, and, most importantly, qualified staff for our anesthetized patients.
We have a full range of Abaxis blood analyzers, heartworm, and FELV/FIV testing on site and access to a full laboratory off site. We have digital radiology and dental digital radiology. We utilize our local partners for board certified ultrasound evaluation, but have an ultrasound in house for brief evaluations.
Yes you can! There is a $2.95 + tax convenience fee added to all credit card payments.
You may reschedule up to 72 hours before the procedure, only one per procedure. If you must reschedule less than 72 hours prior to your scheduled procedure, you may reschedule for a $25 rescheduling fee which must be paid at the time of rescheduling.
All elective procedures require a non-refundable $50 deposit to be scheduled. When dropping of your pet, the remaining balance is to be paid.
This policy is in place so that we may offer you the best price possible for your pet’s procedure. Last minute cancellations or “No Shows” impact the reasonable prices we offer.
Yes. However, only one prescription will be authorized for one year of heartworm medications to one outside pharmacy. Online pharmacies are extremely time consuming for veterinary clinics to navigate and can costly in staff time. To keep our prices affordable, we strictly enforce this policy. Select your pharmacy carefully or purchase your trusted heartworm medication through Focus Veterinary Care.
Yes. An examination is performed on your pet prior to any vaccination. The details of this examination are recorded on the records emailed to you. If you require a consultation with the veterinarian about examination findings or are seeking additional advice beyond what is contained in our assessment, there is an additional charge of $55 for a consultation. Therefore, chronic medical conditions are best served with your regular veterinarian to facilitate the necessary dialogue.
We will provide your records to you directly, electronically. You may then forward them to a veterinary clinic of your choice if necessary.
Once your pet is stable all follow-up care, such as suture removal, will be with your regular veterinarian similar to what you would do after accessing care at an emergency facility. If you do not have a veterinarian, a suggestion will be provided based on your circumstances/location.
No we do not. We are only open two days a week for the public. Therefore, chronic medical conditions are best served by your regular veterinarian.
Yes. If the bloodwork panel meets our minimum requirements and is within the last 3 months for elective procedures.
Most procedures include bloodwork providing a minimum data base for anesthetic purposes. Cat spays and dog neuters do not include bloodwork, but may be purchased for an additional fee.

No. We limit the number of cases and procedures each day so that we can provide personalized and attentive care to your pet. We are very well equipped with state of the art diagnostics including in-house bloodwork, radiology, dental radiology, and monitoring equipment. In addition, we always ensure that our facilities are of the utmost cleanliness and our staff trained to provide quality care. We do not overbook to accommodate cancellations as non-refundable deposits are taken at scheduling for procedures.
