- Prepay for the procedure within 24hrs of scheduling
- No shows or cancellations within three business days of the scheduled procedure will incur a cancellation fee.
- Do not feed your cat after midnight the night before the procedure. Water is ok.
- Cats must be in standard and secure cat carriers. One cat per carrier. Wire cages and cardboard carriers/boxes are prohibited.
- Your cat is to remain in the carrier, in your vehicle, until a member of our staff directs you inside. You can let us know you’ve arrived by knocking on the door.
- Drop off is between 8:00am and 8:30am.
- We are located in downtown Nicholasville at Focus Veterinary Care, 307 S Main St., Nicholasville, KY
40356. We have limited parking. Pull into the semi-circle and follow the arrows, pulling all the way forward. This will enable others to pull in behind you. - If we find that your cat has fleas, we will treat for fleas. This will incur an additional charge of $10.00 + tax.
- If you do not provide proof of at least 2 FVRCP vaccinations previously, your cat will be vaccinated for it. There is no additional charge.
- Proof of a current rabies vaccination is required. Without proof, your cat will be vaccinated for rabies and charged accordingly.
- A small line will be tattooed near the incision site to indicate that your cat has been spayed/neutered.
- Pick-up is between 2:00pm and 4:30pm only. We will text you once your dog has had surgery with a specific pick-up time.
- A late fee of $25.00 is applied for pets picked up after 4:30pm. After 5:00pm, the late fee is $25.00 for each 10min thereafter.
- Discharge instructions will be provided at discharge. Records will be emailed to you.
